The apparatus bay of this station was
built in 1982 on land purchased from the Arizona State Land Department.
In 1987 the 1600 square foot residential facility was added to the structure.
In 1990, the second addition was added to the structure, housing the administrative
offices and classrooms.
A new apparatus building is complete and the new administration building is under construction.

Station 62 is located near the corner of Road 2 South and Highway 89 in Chino Valley. This station was completed in 2008 as the fourth station in the district.
The Picture on the right is the original building for the Chino Valley Volunteer Fire Department. It is now a storage facility for the District.

In 1993, the Fire Board gave approval for the annexation of the Paulden area. Construction of Station 63 began in 1998. In July 1999, Engine 63 was delivered to service the Paulden area.
